All five main card fights went the distance. The last time all five fights on a main card went the distance was in Year 2018.

The Fight Of The Night was Alhassan vs Lazzez. These two guys came out swinging from The Opening Bell.

Even Wednesday night’s headliner between Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige followed the same theme in Abu Dhabi, as Calvin Kattar won an action packed unanimous decision.

Tim Elliott edged past veteran flyweight Ryan Benoit in the back-and-forth co-main event on Fight Island.

When the fight ended, the judges definitely didn’t have an easy call to make, but it was Elliott who ultimately got the decision.

“I feel great,” Elliott said after the win. “He brought the best out of me. It’s not just me out there. It takes two to tango. Hats off to Ryan Benoit. I’m ready to go again right away.”

Even though UFC Fight Night started on Wednesday and the main events action went into Thursday, it was nevertheless another solid night at Abu Dhabi.

While it takes intense training, world-class skills and maybe even a bit of luck to register a UFC win…I have to be very honest, picking the right song to accompany your Walk To The Octagon and living to it’s theme, is an essential key as well.
