The Pittsburg Steelers started the 2018-19 NFL Season with a record of 7-2-1. They finished the season 2 and 4 and missed the playoffs. During that 2 and 4 stretch they lost to 2 teams that didn’t make the playoffs, The Denver Broncos (24-17) and the Oakland Raiders (24-21). The Steelers lost the AFC North that was clearly on a down year. Two coaches were fired in the division, Hugh Jackson and Marvin Lewis. The Ravens started a rookie quarterback mid-way through their season and clinched the division on the last game of the season.

How did the Steeler not qualify for the post-season?

Ben Roethlisberger led the NFL with 5,219 passing yard.

JuJu Smith-Schuster and Antonio Brown combined for 225 catches, 2,723 yards and 23 total touchdowns.

Running back, James Connor played in 13 games and had 973 rushing yards, 497 receiving yards and 13 total touchdowns.

The Steelers have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.

Pittsburgh tied for 1st with 52 sacks on the year.

No one is being held accountable in the Steelers organization. Players like Brown and Le’Veon Bell are being used as scapegoats.

Say it out loud, the teams best WR, and best RB do not want to be part of the Steelers organization any longer.

The time is now for Mike Tomlin to be fired. He has lost the locker room and this team is in disarray. Leadership comes from the top, and their is no leadership in Pittsburgh.

Baker Mayfield and Lamar Jackson will attract free agents in Cleveland and Baltimore during the off-season.

The Steelers won’t play in a Super Bowl for at least a decade. Put a fork in them… they are done.
