It had been three months since Eli Manning played an NFL football game, add the usual sentimental plots, the Philadelphia Eagles mandatory slow starts, and a scoreless first quarter was not surprising at all.

But even the Blue Collar home crowd of Eagles Nation was not happy about the 17-3 halftime score deficit at all, and they very passionately booed the team as it was heading into their locker rooms.

I could just hear the We Want Heads To Roll telephone calls and picture all the comments on every social media platform in existence.

For the second straight week, the Eagles were being outplayed by a team that had nothing to play for.

Winning the Super Bowl in 2017 and the Philly Special had turned into an absolute curse.

Eagles Nation was a much happier place when everyone considered us Santa Claus Snow Ball Throwing Thugs.

Thanks to Philadelphia’s decision-makers, the Eagles will have on offense fewer skill positions players than every team they face for the remainder of the 2019 season.

Carson Wentz was not looking good once again, even though it was painfully clear that he was not working with competent personnel.

Head coach Doug Pederson’s play-calling and his decision making had been horrible.

It was written all over their faces, the players and the head coach were suffering from the Super Bowl Hangover Flu.

Carson Wentz did not play in it, and Nick Foles is no longer a part of the Philadelphia Eagles.

So their offensive inefficiency has to be head coach Doug Pederson’s fault, but the media insisted on giving him a pass because he won the Super Bowl.

It was looking very bleak for the Eagles, but then….the second half started.

Philadelphia Eagles outscore the New York Giants 20-0 after halftime, tie the game in regulation and finally beat the Giants in overtime 23-17.

Although they are going to be outmatched on both sides of the football in every game, the Philadelphia Eagles moving forward will have to make do, and who is ultimate to blame will be a hotly discussed topic.
