The 9-1 Kansas City Chiefs will take on the 9-1 LA Rams Monday night on ESPN.
Both of these teams have Super Bowl aspirations and have prolific offenses.
The Chiefs are led by Patrick Mahomes. The 1st year, starting quarterback, is leading the NFL with 31 touchdown passes and 3rd in the NFL, averaging 315 yards per games. Running back Kareem Hunt has rushed for over 700 yards, averages 4.5 yards per rush and has 13 total touchdowns. Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill continue to lead the passing attack. The two have combined for 112 receptions, over 1,600 yards and 15 touchdowns. There is no weakness on this offense and they can score 28 points in any quarter.

Jared Goff has gotten better every year under head coach Sean McVay. He has 22 touchdown passes, he is completing 68.4 percent of his passes and is averaging 313 passing yards per game. Todd Gurley continues to be in the MVP conversation. The former Georgia running back is averaging 4.99 yards per carry, and has 13 rushing TD’s. He has also caught 40 passes on the season. Brandin Cooks leads a talented wide receiving core with 51 catches.
Prediction:
Both of these teams have struggled defensively. The Chiefs are giving up over 410 yards per game and over the past two weeks, the Rams have given up 487 yards to the New Orleans Saints and 273 rushing yards to the Seattle Seahawks.
The over under for this game is 63 total points.
The Rams should make just enough plays on defense and their offense should outscore Andy Reid’s team.
Take LA 41-37.
