I love “Retro-Parties” as much as the next person, but it’s not a good choice the majority of the time when you decide to start throwing them on NFL football stadiums.

There are only two ways, they can go really quickly…Good or Bad.

The Good Way…

Eli Manning has decided to retire and this is his last tour, and if that it’s the case, it would be a fitting way out for a member of the “First Family of the NFL” to go out, helping his team in their time of need, even if the New York Giants risk their upcoming draft position.

The Bad Way…

The younger generation of NFL players, simply aren’t going to put up with being embarrassed in any shape or form and are fixing to “Tee Off” on Eli Manning.

In addition to being old school – and old!, I’m truly hoping it is “The Good”.

So, on the national prime time stage of Monday Night Football, I will be hoping that Eli Manning has a great game and the G-Men lose to the Philadelphia Eagles by one point.

Best possible outcome.

It’s never just another week when the New York Giants play the Philadelphia Eagles.

Particularly when they do so in Philadelphia and is on prime time television, something always happens in these games.

The Giants are out of the playoffs, but that does not mean that they can’t play spoilers against a division rival who is looking to redeem themselves following an embarrassing loss to the Miami Dolphins and keep themselves in contention for the NFC East title.

In simpler terms, the New York Giants are going be in typical divisional rivalry mode,

“…If we ain’t going to the playoffs, neither are You!”

Player to watch? Who else?

NYG’s QB, Elisha Nelson Manning IV.

Eagles 17 Giants 16.
