The NFL season is basically a Tour De Force.

Generally the overall goal of all the teams is to have a .500 road record and better than .500 home one.

Yet that guaranteens you absolutely nothing.

The Philadelphia Eagles going into Lambeau Field on a short week and beating the Green Bay Packers should had been the team’s rally cry for rest of the season.

Instead the players, coaches and the fans fell in love with all of the headlines – aided by the New York Jets sack party home game and even more after the Jets snow-job-scam victory over the Dallas Cowboys.

Eagles clearly took their eyes off the prize and now find themselves at the tail end of a miserable, finger pointing, road trip.

After terrible performances in consecutive weeks, being a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles has resulted in more anguish than elation, but I have skin in that part of the game and the colors don’t fade!

Key Points

The Eagles’ offensive unit is good enough to keep up with any team in the NFL, but their slow starts are killing them.

They were of not much concern against bad teams, now however is a huge problem that is not going away.

The defense is terrible.

Eagles’ defensive unit – and offense, became spoil these last few years because no matter how bad they played, Nick Foles would come to the rescue and bail them out.

St. Nick was that guy…But Nick Foles is no longer with the team and the players need to get over it – just as I did!

Player To Watch?

QB-Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

Josh Allen gives it his all for this team and he is a fighter so Bills Mafia will continue to believe in him until something changes.

As far as their fan base is concern is ride and die with him.

When Allen doesn’t turn the ball over, the Bills start to click on all cylinders and the offense starts moving.

Prediction

Bills 28 Eagles 14.

*****************************************

Former Eagles defensive coordinator and current Bills’ head coach Sean McDermott has done great job so far through his Buffalo tenure.

Coach has changed the entire culture of the team in very a short time and the guys believe in each other and what they can accomplish.

He was even able to break the playoff drought when many did not expect him to.
