Crawford vs Brook Boxing Preview:
Terence Crawford is looking to secure his name on top of the pound-for-pound rankings.
However former welterweight champion, Kell Brook stands in his way.
Along with his pound-for-pound status, Terence Crawford is widely recognized as one of boxing’s nastiest and most relentless finishers.
The problem is while Crawford is a top pound-for-pound fighter, many feel he does not have a signature win.
His equal in the division is Errol Spence, Jr., but the way politics in boxing is, there seems to be zero chance the two are going be fighting anytime soon.
Spence has viable opponents for the future that are all big-time fighters, while Crawford’s are scarce.
His last fight against Amir Khan ended in controversy because Crawford delivered a low blow and it was stopped.
And Amir Khan hasn’t been the same since Canelo Alvarez knocked him out.
Crawford knocked down Khan in the first round, was dominant and viewers were waiting for the inevitable knockout, but it never came.
Terence Crawford said that he didn’t hit Khan with a low blow, but the replay says otherwise.
The win did nothing for Crawford besides helping his bank account.
It was imperative that Crawford not only beat a decent fighter like Khan, but beat him in a clear, convincing fashion.
Amir Khan turned down more money to fight Kell Brook, for a chance to fight Terrence Crawford.
Kell Brook is the biggest name out there for Crawford and he is superior to Amir Khan, but not by much.
He is a tough veteran, but he should get steamrolled by Crawford on Saturday.
Kell Brook, however says is more than just a payday for him.
Since 2015, only one fighter has gone The Distance with Terence Crawford.

I agree this shouldn't go the distance.

The betting odds heavily favor Crawford to beat Brook by TKO, on the 7th or 8th round.
