5) Michigan gets embarrassed at Wisconsin:

The #11 Michigan Wolverines lost the the #13 Wisconsin Badgers 35-14 in Madison, Wisconsin. Jim Harbuagh’s Wolverines had two weeks to prepare for this game. Coming off a bye, Michigan got throughly embarrassed from start to finish. Wisconsin was up 28-0 and they have now outscored their opponents 145-14 in three games. Coach Harbaugh is now 0-7, on the road, when his team is an underdog. It might be time for the Michigan alumni to look for a different coach. This will the 5th straight year that Harbaugh won’t win a Big 10 Championship. Jonathan Taylor carried the ball 23 times for 203 yards and two touchdowns. The Wisconsin running back should be in the Heisman Trophy conversation.

4) What do we make of USC?

The Trojans lost in overtime last week to BYU, 30-27. On Friday night, they upset the #10 Utah Utes 30-23. Michael Pittman Jr. caught 10 passes for 232 yards and a touchdowns. Matt Fink completed 21-30 passes for 351 yards and 3 touchdowns. USC is 3-1 and they can easily be 4-0. We will know more about this team over the next few weeks. They play at Washington, At Notre Dame and then back to back games November 2nd against Oregon and @ Arizona State on November 9th. USC wasn’t ranked in the top 25 in the pre-season but they could win 8 or 9 games.

3 Georgia beats Notre Dame:

The #3 Georgia Bulldogs beat the #8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, 23-17, in front of a raucous home crowd of 93,000 fans. This game was not pretty to watch but the atmosphere was electric. Brian Kelly is now 0-11, at Notre Dame, against top 5 ranked teams. Kirby Smart is building something special in Georgia.

2016: 8-5.
2017: 13-2.
2018: 11-3.
2019. 4-0.

This could be the best team Coach Smart has had, but are they good enough to be the Alabama Crimson Tide?

2) #15 UCF loses at Pittsburgh:

Coming into this game, UCF won 27 straight regular season games. That streak ended on Saturday after losing to unranked Pittsburgh, 35-34. The Knights were trailing 21 to 0 before they came back to a 31-21 lead. With .59 seconds left in the 4th quarter, Kenny Pickett threw a 3 yard touchdown pass to seal the victory. UCF is a top 20 team and they are doing a tremendous job out-recruiting schools like Florida, Florida Sate and Miami, but this was a terrible loss. I expect UCF to win 10 games this year and finish the season ranked in the top 15 despite their defeat.

1) Is Chip Kelly back?:

UCLA was 0-3 going into their game against the #19 Washington State Cougars. The Bruins were trailing 49-17, before they scored 50 points in 18 minutes to win 67-63. UCLA competed a 32 point come back to defeat the Cougars, 67-73. The 130 points are the most in a conference game in PAC-12 history. Think about this… The WSU quarterback, Anthony Gordon, threw for 9 touchdown passes, and he lost!

UCLA scored, 14, 14, and 14 points in their first 3 games. Did Kelly find the offense that he ran at Oregon for four years on Saturday night? Time will tell. For at least one week, Kelly is off the hot-seat.

Bonus Coverage

#2 Alabama defeated Southern Miss 48-7. The Crimson Tide have 86 straight wins against unranked opponents. Quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa, has 54 touchdown passes and 1 interception against unranked opponents.

#4 LSU destroyed Vanderbilt 66-38. LSU’s offense is for real. They became the 4th team in SEC history to score 65 or more points in back-to-back weeks. The Vanderbilt Commodores are 0-56 vs top 5 teams.

#23 California went on the road and beat Ole Miss 28-20. Anytime you can beat an SEC team on the road, that is a quality win.

#21 Oregon defeated rival Standford 21-6. If this Oregon team runs the table in the PAC-12, they could make the Final Four playoffs.

#24 Arizona State upset Michigan State last week. They followed that up with a bad loss to Colorado at home 34-31. Herman Edwards is trying to build a winner at ASU, but this was a bad loss at home.

#8 Auburn went into Texas A&M and beat the #17 Aggies 28-20. Bo Nix only passed for 100 yards but Auburn keep winning with their young quarterback
