2017 NBA Free Agency

“If you ain’t first, you’re last!”, Ricky Bobby in Talladega Nights.

With my sincere apologies to all those hardworking – second year plus! – players out there…

The NBA is a Super Star League and free agency clearly draws that line on the sand year after year. Until you reach that plateau, you must make way for the hierarchy.

NBA teams which stand path will eventually get steam roll, if not during the regular season then definitely in the playoffs – also known as The Second Season.

Building a contender solely thru the NBA Draft without surrounding young prospects with at least two superstars is ludicrous and caveman thinking,

“How’s that ‘Trust The Process’ thing been working out for you all these years, Philly fans?!?”

Kevin Durant caught all kinds of hell when he signed with the Golden State Warriors as a free agent, but…

KD was just following a path already established by Moses Malone, Adrian Dantley and Shaquille O’Neal.

The NBA is not for the weak of heart.
