Professional Football is slowly, but surely creeping up on the nation. There are 37 days that separates us from the NFL Preseason, and 69 days from the regular season. Hopefully I’m not the only one that thinks it’s never to early to start speculating and theorizing about the 2015-16 NFL season, right? Strap yourselves in and let’s take a look at some of the NFC South games that will potentially create great headlines:

5. Carolina Panthers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 4

This game features two college National Championship and Heisman winning quarterbacks in Cam Newton and Jameis Winston. Both have had off-field issues in the past during each of their college days; but if Winston is like Newton, it should smooth out during his NFL tenure. This is an early NFC South match up that will test the abilities of Winston, and will establish a possible leader in the division.  #PastMeetsPresent

4. New Orleans Saints @ Indianapolis Colts, Week 7

Expect high-flying action in this match up, as two of the NFL’s top passers take the field. Andrew Luck (3rd in passing yards and 1st in passing touchdowns; 2014) will go against Drew Brees (1st in passing yards and 5th in passing touchdowns; 2014) in what is expected to be one of the highest rated passing games of the season. #BombsAway

3. Tennessee Titans @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Week 1

Two Heisman winning rookie quarterbacks will take the field at Raymond James Stadium in Week 1. This will be the second time Marcus Mariota and Winston play each other in their football careers. Hopefully, the match up will fare better this time for Winston than it did in the College Football Playoffs. #RookieBowl

2. Carolina Panthers @ Seattle Seahawks, Week 6

That Panthers will be looking for revenge in Week 6, after losing to the Seahawks, 34-17, in January during the playoffs. Carolina will be looking to face the tandem of Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch; plus, the Seahawks bring in a familiar face with former New Orleans Saints tight end, Jimmy Graham. #WeMeetAgain

1. New Orleans Saints @ Atlanta Falcons, Week 17

While the Week 6 Thursday night match up between these two teams will be a close game, the Week 17 match up should be even more interesting. Since 2005, the Saints have held their own in the series with a record of 13-7. This game could be a major factor in deciding who wins the NFC South, who gets possible Wild Card berth, and who stays home for the playoffs. #ForAllTheMarbles
