The Chicago Blackhawks for the third time in six years captured the Cup Monday night. A team that really came into the playoff as a sneaky favorite seeing as how they were by far the most experienced team in the playoffs. They hit a few snags in the road like having to pull their goalie against the Predators in game two of that series then turn around and have the backup Scott Darling for game three which he promptly lost. The Ducks took them to seven but could not finish the job even with the game seven being in their own building. The Hawks just kept pushing forward onward to the final great goal of winning it all. In the cup finals, their two top scoring superstars had their fair share of struggles so the Blackhawks had to look at veteran Defenseman Duncan Keith for leadership which he promptly provided with timely goals like the game winner in game 6. A team that once again found a way to get it done like it seems they always do, adjustments were made and gave them a huge advantage over the young Tampa Bay Lightning. Speaking of Tampa; this team will be here again and they will be stronger than this year which if you’re a fan of an eastern conference team like me you should be very worried. So to wrap it all up I must say congratulations to the 2015 Stanley Cup Champions the Chicago Blackhawks!
