College Football’s Top 25: Post Week 2

Hard to believe it, but Week 2 of college football has already come and gone. There were a few upsets, and the formation of the top 25 is looking slightly different this week.

The main shifting in the top ten was a direct result of Michigan State’s 31-28 win against Oregon. The Spartans moved up to No. 4 in my latest rankings, while the Ducks, now 1-1, fell to No. 13.

The biggest move up in the rankings came from BYU, jumping up eight spots to No. 22 after beating Boise State in a big show. Auburn dropped eight spots after just barely skidding by Jacksonville State and Tennessee, previously on the edge of the Top 25 at No. 23, was dropped from the rankings after losing to Okahoma, who did not move up or down after the win in Neyland Stadium.

Check out my top 25 below, and come back next week to see how the outcome changes.
