I am a Boston Red Sox fan, and as of right now I am shocked to see how they have been performing of late. They are currently 28-39, which gives them the worst record in the American League and it also puts them 9 games back in the AL east. My question is, why aren’t the Red Sox performing? We all knew at the beginning of the season that their pitching staff wasn’t the best, but their lineup was considered one of the best in baseball. However, this season both have disappointed. With a lineup that consists of the likes of, Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz, Hanley Ramirez, and Pablo “Panda” Sandoval, how are they not scoring more than they have been lately? Also, Pablo Sandoval was benched tonight against the Atlanta Braves for using social media during a game. I mean…seriously? Can social media not wait until after the game? I would be more worried about winning the game than using social media. Although, Sandoval has apologized so hopefully he learned his lesson, and hopefully the Red Sox can get back on track before the all-star break and start gaining ground in the AL east.
